ABOUT MICROSOFT WORKLOAD ASSESSMENT AND LICENSE OPTIMIZATION

We aim to assist customers, whether they are already on AWS, on-premise, or on Azure. The Optimization and Licensing Assessment (OLA) enables businesses to assess and optimize current on-premises and cloud environments based on resource utilization and third-party licensing. Customers can save 77% on Windows Server licensing and 45% on SQL Core licensing costs (when migrated to Dedicated Hosts in AWS).

OLA DELIVERABLES

During ONE OLA we will run a tool that scans the actual resource consumption of the customer's Microsoft environment. OLA report will have TCO move to AWS highlighting four pathways to unlock cost savings and benefits of AWS over the traditional on-premise environment or other cloud solutions.

ONE OLA'S four pathways focus on optimizing managed database licensing, providing customers with the freedom to choose their database solutions, enhancing storage options, mapping services from cloud providers, and improving workloads on Amazon EC2. ONE OLA is designed to streamline and enhance different aspects of cloud services, ensuring flexibility, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

ONE OLA provides the next steps and lays the foundation for migration’s next phases, a Migration Readiness Assessment (MRA) and Migration Readiness Planning (MRP).
